Our founder, Michael , began his journey in early years education, working as a nursery practitioner where he saw firsthand the transformative power of care, structure, and trust. From those early foundations, he progressed through the primary sector, teaching across diverse settings and eventually becoming a headteacher. His leadership was marked by strategic vision, warmth, and a relentless focus on safeguarding, safety and inclusion.
Michael’s approach has always centred on people. As a headteacher, he led whole school transformation through strengthening safeguarding protocols, mentoring staff, and building cultures of accountability and care. His ability to forge strong relationships and maximise staff retention and output became a hallmark of his leadership, earning trust across communities and multi-agency partnerships.
CMA Consultants now brings that ethos to schools, charities, and mission led organisations. We specialise in strategic planning, safeguarding audits, mentoring middle and senior leaders, and creating environments where people feel safe, valued, and empowered.
